This Method works 99% of the time. the 1% is just user error.

1) You Will Need to navigate to your battlefield 3 or 4 Folder. (works with both)
*Mine is: "C:\ORIGIN GAMES\Battlefield 4\__Installer\punkbuster\redist\pbsvc.exe"

2) Right-Click on "pbsvc.exe" and choose "Run as Administrator"
*note:Pbsvc.exe is your punkbuster service tool, different from the pbupdate tool at the punkbuster website.

3) You will see a window pop open.


*Click where the red outlines are.


4)Agree to the End-User-License-Agreentment (EULA)


*Click where the red outlines are.


5) It will run the primary installation and confirm its done, with GREEN lettering.

*Click where the red outlines are.


6) The final installation and verification of installation and services running, again, this should be in GREEN, indicating everything went good.

*Click where the red outlines are.


7) Finished! Now Go play the game!
*Notes: If your still having issues, it will be with your security software, Firewall or Windows Defender. its best to DISABLE Windows Defender and Windows Firewall
